RETURN OF THE START

We're seeking artwork for our next exhibition, Return of the Start. We are looking for artists in the show to examine “Return of the Jedi” and “The Mandalorian” in particular, from various angles: critical, political, socioeconomic, etc.You're invited to submit and showcase your best 2-D, 3-D or digital art pieces as it relates to Star Wars.

  • ENTRY DEADLINE: February 29th at 11:59 p.m. (EST)

  • ANNOUNCEMENTS OF FINALISTS: June 11th

  • ART DROPOFF: July 28th 12-4pm & July 29th 2-6pm

CTC-19 

Norwest is partnering with Michigan State University for an exhibition exploring artwork created during the pandemic. This exhibition aims to represent diverse acts of creativity, which speak to the myriad ways the pandemic was being experienced within and across multiple communities. How did you use art to cope during the pandemic? What did those pieces convey? We want to hear from you and see your work.

WOMXNHOUSE 2024

The Norwest Community Collaborative/Norwest Gallery of Art has launched an inclusive artist residency program to support women artists. Each year, we transform an entire house into a fully immersive art installation that explores the contemporary experience of being a woman in America.
